Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Birthday Cake!

I made this cake for my son's second birthday. He LOVES Mickey Mouse! When he saw his cake, his eyes lit up, it made his day!
The top layer was chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting with reeses peanut buttercup candies broken up and sprinkled between each layer.
The middle was a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Simple yet to die for.
And the bottom is one of my favorites, its a white butter cake with almond buttercream frosting and fresh raspberries. Yummm!!

Tortoise Cake

I made this cake for my husband's dad's birthday. I was so excited to make this cake. And out of all of the cakes I've made this one is in my top favorites to make. I just had so much fun sculpting the cake and pushing my talents and abilities. Not only did this cake look super cool it tasted amazing. It was a turtle cake, clever I know :) Chocolate cake with carmel and pecans and chocolate chips baked right in. Delish!!

Yellow Damask Cake

I made this cake for my husband's mom's birthday. It was my first square tiered cake and boy was it hard to make them perfect, round is so much easier but I think with a little more practice I'll have the square down.  All in all this cake was so much fun to make. I love being able to try new things and stretch my talents. Not only was this cake beautiful but it tasted amazing as well. The top tier was a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, the second tier was a chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream with crumbled reeses pieces in between each layer. And the bottom was a white cake with strawberries and fresh whipped cream. YUMMM!!!

Owl Cake Topper

I wasn't able to make a cake for this birthday because they live a few hours away so I was asked if I could make a cake topper for her to put on her own cake. She emailed me a picture of the owl on the invitation and asked me if I could make one that looked just like that. So I made the owl, branch and leaves and birthday sign and sent it to them. It turned out so cute!

Hawaiian Themed Birthday Cake

I had so much fun making this cake. I had helped a very talented cake decorater with a Hawaiian themed cake before so I already knew what I wanted to do. The bottom layer was chocolate with chocolate whipped cream and the top was white cake with chocolate whipped cream.
